Materials:
* construction paper in pink and/or red and/or purple
* tape or re-positionable adhesive like Hermafix® Transfer
   or double sided sticky tape
* pen or marker
* scissors
* foil covered chocolate hearts or craft foam hearts or die-cut hearts
* Optional:  rubber stamp greeting

Have your child trace their hand onto a piece of construction paper.
Cut it out and use it as a pattern to make more hands.
On the back of the hand write or stamp a greeting and TO:   FROM:.

Glue a heart shaped item (candy or other) into the inside
palm of the hand.  Place repositionable glue, or small rolled up
tape sticky side out, or double sided sticky tape on the middle
fingers (see arrows and dots).

Fold the glued fingers over the heart.  This is one of the nicest ways to say "I love you" on Valentine's day.
