Quick Score
* 5" x 7" scratch pad

2.  Stamp covers as desired before gluing.  In our
example, however, we are only stamping on the
     coordinating cardstock.

3.  Score the front cover for a nice fold on the bound edge.

4.  Line-up the note pad with the front cover and glue the
scored top flap down over to the back of the note pad.

5.  After allowing the flap of cardstock to dry onto the back
of the note pad, apply glue generously to the back cover.
Line the back cover up with the note pad, and
press/rub firmly. Your project is complete at this point
if you already stamped the project.

6.   In our project we decided to make a small tree the focal
point of the note pad. Fingernails were used to rough up
the edges of the hunter green and burgundy pieces of
cardstock. We then crumpled them up, smoothed them out
and glued onto the covered note pad.

7.  We roughed up the edges of the tree cardstock with our
fingernails before applying the liquid applique. We
applied the liquid applique, sprinkled clear embossing
powder on it and then puffed the liquid applique up using
      a heat tool.

The embossing powder helps harden the liquid applique
so that it doesn't flatten out as easily when pressed.

8.   We adhered the tree to the project with glue stick.
